Higher Education Secretary Vineet Joshi conducted a detailed inspection on Wednesday to assess the implementation and progress of cleanliness initiatives across the Ministry of Education’s office premises at Shastri Bhawan, officials said. The review focused on evaluating the efficiency of offices, digitalisation measures, and proper disposal of e-waste and outdated records.

This year’s cleanliness drive aims to surpass the milestones achieved under Special Campaign 4.0, emphasizing higher operational efficiency, enhanced digital workflows, and sustainable office management practices. Officials noted that the campaign not only targets physical cleanliness but also promotes systematic record management and e-governance improvements.
During the inspection, Vineet Joshi interacted with ministry staff to understand the challenges in maintaining high standards of office hygiene and workflow efficiency. The initiative reflects the Ministry’s continued commitment to creating a clean, organized, and digitally enabled work environment, in line with broader government objectives for transparency, accountability, and sustainability.
Officials emphasized that such campaigns also encourage a culture of responsibility and discipline among employees while accelerating the disposal of redundant files and electronic waste in an environmentally friendly manner.
The Higher Education Secretary’s visit is part of a series of efforts aimed at streamlining administrative processes, improving office management, and promoting a cleaner and more efficient workspace in all government education offices.
